Its key feature is the addition of Palladium (Pd), enhancing resistance to aggressive environments.

Corrosion Resistance of Gr7 elbow
- Superior performance in: Acids (sulfuric, hydrochloric, phosphoric); Chloride solutions (seawater, brine, bleach); Crevice/pitting-prone systems (e.g., heat exchangers, scrubbers);  Withstands oxidizing acids (nitric acid) better than Gr2/Gr12.
