Types of Titanium Stub End

Long pattern stub ends

Long pattern titanium stub ends, also referred to as asa or mss type a stub ends, have a longer length than the standard type. This longer length is designed to provide better alignment of the flanges and prevent leakage. They are commonly used in applications where the piping system is subjected to thermal cycling, such as heat exchangers, power plants, and chemical processing plants.

Short pattern stub ends

Short pattern titanium stub ends, also known as asa or mss type b stub ends, have a shorter length compared to the long pattern type. These stub ends are used when space is limited, and they are lighter in weight, which can be an advantage in certain applications.

Production Process of Titanium Stub End

Prepare titanium tube

Cut titanium tube

Cut titanium tube into appropriate lengths as needed.

Titanium tube flaring

Use a special flaring tool to flare one end of the titanium tube.

Titanium flanging
